It was a long, long day for Ella. A long walk with Dad this morning, sleeping on the couch, the floor, and the couch again. Guests (my parents and aunt) for dinner. And it's still hot here! She really wasn't up to posing for pictures tonight, but I think I got a good one!

I find it hard to take photos of dogs when they pose. As soon as I focus, they get up to come kiss me. You diid good!
Very good photos of the elusive Ella. Oliver says it makes her look mysterious! Woof from him and me! Sorry it is still hot there. We had 37 degrees this morning with warming up to 42 degrees this afternoon.
What a cute pup! I love the first and last pictures. It's so hard to take good pictures of black dogs, especially with their eyes focused.
