Here I am! Ever since I made those cowgirl outfits (which looked wonderful on those two lil' cowgirls), I've been seduced by this:

Yes. A sewing machine.
I made this skirt (with material enough to make like four more).
This great tote bag.
And this bag for my MIL's birthday!
But...I've still done some knitting!
The back of my CPH! Hopefully by the end of today I'll be at the shoulders and can start the fronts tomorrow! (That's my goal anyway!)
The skirt pattern is from Butterick #B4461.
The bags are both from New Look #6467.
The sewing machine was my mom's! Still works great!

I love to sew - I wish I had more time because I have a quilt top that has been made for about 6 months and I would really love to get it quilted! I love the bags - I'm going to have to search for that pattern - waht great gifts!
You go girl! Those bags are incredible!
Those bags are gorgeous!! I love the orange one. It's stuff like this that really make me want to learn to sew.
Those bags look great!! It's ok to get lost in your sewing machine. I've been so lost in knitting my poor sewing machine is neglected. :)
Those old sewing machines are so reliable. When we bought a new Bernina, my mom would get up early and wind bobbins using her old machine because she didn't want to learn how to do it on the new one!
All of your sewing projects look fabulous! Your sweater is coming along nicely. I love cables...you'll have one very good looking sweater when your finished :)
you are just rockin' out on that sewing (and that cph is NICE).
OH I envy you, I have a brand new sewing machine and no idea how to use it.
Your bags are lovley! How dare you be multi talented!! Have fun on the sewing machine. The old ones are the best. I still use my old Sears model that I got on my 1st wedding anniversary! (That was 34 years ago!!) Love the sweater too. Thanks for link to my contest.
