Just a quick update on things here in Cactus-land. I'm still working away on the
Lotus Blossom Tank. I finished the front and am almost done with the back, but not quite at the short rows/shoulders yet. It's been slow going this weekend. I was hoping to get it done by Sunday, Mother's Day (and a belated Happy Mother's Day to all out there), but no such luck. My birthday was also over the weekend, so between Mother's Day, birthday, both kids having baseball all weekend, and my parents visiting, not much knitting was done.
So, I'm sort of going through knitting withdrawal. I have the urge to get it done, but not the time. (Or rather, other things keep jumping in the way!)
And I have a ton of other projects that I want to get to, like (mind you, this is just a sampling):
- Helmet Liner -- cast on, but not resembling it whatsoever!
- Razor Cami -- on the needles, and only about eight inches in! (the link is for the KAL, you can find the pattern there or on Ravelry!
- Beanpole Beanie -- just a distant wish for the needles! (I don't even have the yarn for it!)
- Foliage -- I attempted this before, and would like to try again.
And many, many more hats/small projects that catch my eye in the next few weeks! I think after the razor cami, or while I'm working on it, I'm going to focus on some instant gratification projects!
Hope all are having a great week!
Take care!

You are such a busy knitter...I really appreciate your comments on my blog.
I know that feeling! I haven't knit in 3 days!!!! Just too much to do with cleaning the camp and packing at home to move. DH put the water line in yesterday but had the wrong pump so had to bring the right one up today. He tried for over an hour and half to get the water running but no luck! So he pulled the line in (Thank God he had a rope on it for just this type of problem) and found that the end was not pointing up and was twisted in the rope. The winds have been so bad that we took a chance putting it in yesterday but there was no way to get the boat back in with the waves and wind tonight. Oh well. Life goes on. So we came home early and I went to bed and knit on my cardigan. Both of the bands are done now to do the hood. Now I can't sleep because I know I have that MRI tomorrow afternoon and it bothers me to be in that thing for over an hour...even with meds I am a nervous wreck! lol Oh well, I hope they give me a good strong dose so I can sleep through it like I did the last time. haha.
Take care and KNIT ON!!
I always get good ideas for new projects from you. I love the Bean Pole hat!
I saw the Lotusin the Best of Interweave. Are the sleeves going to be a little tricky putting together? I was wondering reading the pattern something about sewing at a slant or something like that? I can't wait to see yours finsihed in green
