Doggie Visitors and New Project Pictures

This is Ella's friend Abby. Abby lives in Colorado with Cocoa (see below). Abby and Ella have been friends for years and love to see each other. Abby and Cocoa were visiting for the weekend, so Ella (and mom) were busy and didn't get much knitting done. Abby and Cocoa's mom loves to get my hats, so I need to find some quick and easy summer/winter hats for her.
This is Cocoa. She's a mini-dapple daschund. Still a puppy, but won't get any bigger.
Ella and Abby posing together. (Ella's pretending to be a lab!) Ella loves her Abby.

And my new project! Since I finished my CPH, I figured I needed some warm, sleeveless wear, so...

...this is the Lotus Blossom Tank from Interweave Knits, Summer '06. I'm using Butterfly super-10 mercerized cotton. I bought three skeins, in color number 3727 (spring) and am doing an extra lace repeat for some length. I'm almost done with the lace part and used the calculator from the last entry (May 2) to figure the decreases for me. I hate trying to figure those out! Reading some of the comments from Ravelry and the KAL scare me, so I'm ignoring them and just going to keep on knitting.
Hope all have a great week! Take care.

Oh that tank is absolutely stunning. It looks very advanced and beautiful in my favorite color! I can't wait to see it finished. Will dig a round for that issue if I have it.

Breath-taking!!! You are one talented lady! Don't ever let other peoples rants about a pattern stop you from trying..they just haven't got it!!! My very first big project ever was an Aran sweater for my boyfriend, now DH. I hadn't a clue as to what to do...my MIL helped me with the definitions and the sweater came out wonderful. She even taught me how to sew it up and look professional. So at 17 I became a "fisherman knit" nut. LOL

I don't do anything summery at all because by the time I get it done it's too cold to wear it. LOL That's Maine for ya!
Heading to camp tomorrow to start cleaning it up so we can move in this weekend. I will be coming to town once a week after the move to shop and pay bills. Because of the gas prices I may just have hubby pick up stuff when he gets out of work each day.
Can't wait to move and get out of this noisy neighborhood...all these dogs drive me nuts at times...and the mill when it goes down is horrible..can't hear yourself think at all then. I will have to get my knitting projects ready too...bag them and hang them and when ready for a new one, DH will pick it up from the house and bring it up to me.

Take care

I remember looking at the Lotus Blossom tank. I really like it. And the green color is great. Sometime people exagerate the problems they have with directions. I have always plunged into the deep end of the knitting pool. That's how we grow.

So nice to have doggie visitors. My boys wish other dogs would come to see them.

Sorry my comment posted twice. Could you remove one of them and this comment for me? Thanks.
