Yarn For Thought
When you get stuck on a project do you--- put it down for a few days to a week?
- put it down for a week to a months?
- put it down for a month to many, many months?
And then, only then do you--
- finish the project?
- leave the project on needles or a holder for ever and ever until forced to remove from said needles or holder?
- frog the entire thing and re-use the yarn?
Hmm...just curious...

I have done all of them
When I quilted, I have finished every item I've started saved for the one that I was working on when I started knitting 1 1/2 years ago. Since I'm pretty new to knitting, I only have 1 languishing project that is my nemesis right now. Otherwise, I've pretty much finished everything.
I have projects still on needles, but it's not because I got stuck it's because I wanted to start a new project (I like starting) so I can't answer the first part, but eventually I do hope to finish all the projects I have started.
Hey! Thanks for visiting...in the Phoenix, Snotsdale, Mesa area, there are 14 Tuesday Mornings. There are 3 in Tucson. (There, did I geolocate correctly on the cactii?)
I'm usually a pretty stubborn person, and thus I only put a projects that I'm stuck with away over night. The next day I grab it again with clenched teeth and try to get through with it - and I'm finishing it, even if it'll be the last thing I'm doing ;)
Mostly just put it down for a few days to a week, maybe a month or two if something else grabs my attention. I usually finish things. Sometimes though, I think it's important to recognize when it's time to let go and frog the whole thing!
Get stuck, like, wow I'm not sure how to do this next bit? Put it away overnight or until hte next time I have time. But stuck, like, wow I just finished this sweater back and I can see it won't fit? Well, one of those has been sitting in my study, 3/4 frogged, for the last 5 weeks...
